hi, my name is gaia (she/they), i decided to make a pretty basic carrd with links/info to gofundmes, venmos, paypal, cashapps, and other funding resources created by BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) that are in need of support. i will be updating it regularly. if you would like to reach out to me about adding another link or donation information to this carrd, please feel free to contact me via any of the forms of the contact information i have provided below at the bottom of the page. thank you! a message to white allies
supporting BIPOC financially is extremely important--many of us do not have access to resources as a result of years of systemic and systematic oppression that has made it difficult for us to easily access resources. as an ally, it is important to use any form of power and privilege you possess to help those of us in need.
i also understand that not everyone is financially stable enough to donate money--but please keep in mind that there are also other ways to support many of us aside from providing direct financial support. sharing links to donations/gofundmes, donating resources (food, clothing, school supplies, etc.,), and providing BIPOC with connections/occupational support are just a few ways to support us.
please note that it is important that you take the time to do research and seek out helping BIPOC in need on your own. not everything will be provided to you in a carrd or neat, easily consumable package.
